AeireA small note.

Neil Gaiman does, indeed, hold pandas. Justin is not him. (But we knew that already).

If you're scratching your head wondering who the gentleman with the critter on his lap is, goodness you have reading to do. I suggest if you're novel-inclined starting with the novelization of Stardust, which you may or may not have seen in theatres - to be perfectly honest I still like the book much, much better than the film. Which isn't to say the film wasn't well-done or entertaining, it's more like the book and the movie were two different versions of the same story, and I preferred the book's version of it. There's also a larger, prettier version with illustrations by Charles Vess. It's a decent enough place to start.

If you're a fan of comics, then you've been living someplace very remote if you haven't heard of or read the Sandman series. There's about a billion versions out there of that one as well.

(Incidentially, I'd recommend hopping from Stardust to Good Omens if you want more funny things - he wrote it with Terry Pratchett. I love that book too. If you'd rather go serious, go pick up American Gods.)
